Trumpeter History

Trumpeter was established in 2008 under the Big Lake Neighbourhood One Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP). The name Trumpeter was adopted on August 19, 2009, and is derived from the Trumpeter Swan, a bird species common in the area.

Trumpeter features lots, showhomes and quick possession homes. House styles are mainly single-family homes and a few townhouses. Builders active in the community include Jayman Built, Pacesetter Homes and Jaya Homes.

The community is under the management of the Trumpeter Home Owners Association which charges an annual fee to fund the maintenance of community amenities such as plant materials, bridges, trails, walls, etc.

Trumpeter is bounded on the north by a future arterial road, 199 Street to the east, west by Winterburn Road and south by Horseshoe Lake and its tributary.

Trumpeter Outdoor and Recreational Amenities

Trumpeter's location offers lots of recreational opportunities all year round. Within the community, Trumpeter Landing playground is the favourite spot for residents.
