Hawks Ridge History

Hawks Ridge was established in 2010 through the adoption of the Big Lake Neighbourhood Three Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP). The plan was renamed in 2011 to Hawks Ridge Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP). Hawks Ridge was given its name officially on September 21, 2010. There are plans for a future elementary school and mixed-use development for a commercial area within the neighbourhood. Hawks Ridge is bounded on the west by Range Road 261, north by Big Lake, east by Winterburn Road (215 Street), and south by future Big Lake Neighbourhood 5.

Hawks Ridge Recreational Activities

Hawks Ridge neighbourhood is probably on top of the list in providing recreational opportunities to its residents.
