Graydon Hill History

Graydon Hill is named after Rosetta Graydon, founder of the Edmonton Humane Society and a key figure in the efforts to designate Edmonton as the provincial capital of Alberta. Graydon Hill was the original Heritage Valley Neighbourhood 13 within Heritage Valley Servicing Concept Design Brief (SCDB). Real estate construction in the neighbourhood began in 2013. There are plans to construct a new southwest hospital in the eastern part of Graydon Hill, and a nearby LRT station is currently under development. The neighbourhood is bounded by Ellerslie Road to the north, 141 Street to the west, future Heritage Valley Trail SW to the east and future Paisley neighbourhood to the south. 

Graydon Hill Recreational Activities

Graydon Hill was developed with recreational amenities in mind. Within the community, residents have access to an environmental reserve, constructed wetland, and the connected paths and trails in the area are perfect for walking, running and biking.
