Century Park Station History & Communities
Century Park LRT station officially opened on April 24, 2010, and began normal operation on April 25, that year. It serves as the current southern terminus of both the Capital and Metro LRT line. The Century Park Transit Centre adjacent to the LRT features climate-controlled waiting rooms, washrooms, a passenger drop-off area, public payphones, park & ride, a convenience store, ATM and much more.
The LRT station was named after Century Park, a transit-oriented real estate development situated next to the station on the former site of Heritage Mall. The development consists of luxury condos and is connected to the LRT station via a grade-separated pedway.
